If your Dvd-drive is not responding when you insert a dvd in the drive or if the Dvd icon is not shown in my computer apply this fix. this works in windows Xp and Above
1.start
2. In search type regedit
3.Search for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
4.In the drop down search for system
5.then search for control
6.And then look for class file 4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFFC1-08002BE10318
7.Look for file LowerFilter and delete it.
8.restart the computer
now insert a dvd and check if it working or not . if the fix is not working contact your engineer or mail me us
